Christmas 2017 at the Fishermen’s Chapel

25th November – 11am – 5pm
Our first Christmas Market with wonderful stalls of beautiful handmade gifts for Christmas all by professional local artists. Mulled wine ( non-alcoholic) and mince pies will be handed to you as you come in. Please tell your friends!!

1st December – 2 – 4pm
Please join us for a wonderful afternoon of cake and musical entertainment by The Daisy Bowlers. This is free to attend, however we do pass around a teapot for any donations you are able to give. All the funds collected go to a different local charity each month. Please arrive by 1.45pm to be sure of a seat (downstairs). This month we raised £107 for Fair Havens THANK YOU

3rd December – 9.30am
We will be having our beautiful Communion Service with Rev. Peter Moorhouse. This is a traditional service with Wesley hymns that we all know and love.

9th December 3pm – 4.45pm
Lantern Making for children and adults! Luxury hot chocolate, mulled non alcoholic wine and mince pies served. £1 donation for the lanterns. 4.45pm Lantern procession over to The Strand Wharf for the Carols on the Wharf event.

10 December
Gospel Vespers
6.30pm – a short talk on the amazing history of our beautiful little Chapel.Gospel Vespers,
7 – coffee and cakes served
7.30 – The service begins

17th December
11am – Our Toy Service where we bring an unwrapped toy for children who are less fortunate will be held at The Den ( Sea Scouts in Old Town)
3pm ( PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A REVISED TIME)
Midwinter Carols Service with members of The Famous Potatoes and Friends. Always a very popular service. Please arrive early for a seat.

23rd December – 2pm – 4.30pm
The Daisy Bowlers Christmas Spectacular featuring the Waterside Choirs and guest soloists. Wonderful refreshments by Cinnamon and Sugar. This is a ticketed event – tickets £10 ( all proceeds to charity)

25th December – 11am
Please join us for a short service on Christmas Day – we would love to see you and be able to wish you and your families every happiness, health and peace for the Christmas period and for the New Year.
